Hello, my name is Katie Forbes. I am a real human being and I like to make art. Sometimes I make digital art, sometimes I draw using real pens and paper, and other times I paint big and large paintings. In this exhibition, it is mostly big and large paintings. I have the most fun when I paint because I like to use bold colours on big surfaces – the bigger the better! I like my paintings so big it feels like I am being swallowed by them. My favourite colour is cobalt blue, I use this colour in all my paintings because it dazzles me. I hope that you, too, are dazzled by my cobalt blue.
