Wish You Were Here - Cat McIntyre

Using art as a form of escapism ‘wish you were here’ aims to convey a need for imagination and distraction from our everyday surroundings. Creating a physical representation of the many daydreams I have of more exotic environments this body of work seeks to provide a window into my mind depicting bold colour and bizarre forms. The ensuing other-worldly environment will hopefully resonate with fellow idealists.

Recent world events which have had a detrimental effect on anxiety and mental health have paved the way for bold, unfamiliar design. Creating a joyful environment in our own home is now considered more important than ever and this collection aims to celebrate unreality.
